This seldom-seen fur clip by Trifari is rated 3 stars for collectibility in the Brunialti Italian book, and a delightful piece it is! A colorful songbird enamelled in red, navy, and yellow with a rhinestone back and eye sits perched on a detailed leafy branch with rhinestones at the tips of the leaves and forming buds on the branch. His only flaw is a tiny bit of enamel loss just above his eyebrow and a few more patches of wear on the leaves. Otherwise, he's in very good vintage condition with a well-functioning clip and a heavily rhodium-plated back that shows no signs of metal wear. He measures 3-1/8" long x 2-1/4" high.
