Ca. 1940 TRIFARI Alfred Philippe Enameled Pink Carnation Fur Clip

This charming enamel and rhinestone carnation signed Trifari with the crown mark is rhodium-plated and hand-enameled in lovely detail with a cluster of sparkling crystal chatons at the center. The enameling is virtually flawless except for one area along the edge of the leaf, but it sits at such an angle that no one would ever notice. Pin clips are wonderful because they can be worn as either a clip or a brooch on just about anything ~ if this was 1982, I'd be wearing them on the tops of my boots! This one brooch measures 2-7/8" high x 2" wide and is in excellent vintage condition.
