Over-the-Top MIRIAM HASKELL Pink Art Glass & Baroque Pearl Necklace & Earrings Set

I have been holding back this stupendous demi-parure because I wanted to sell it together with the matching brooch, but then decided to list the brooch separately, because there are brooch people and necklace people and often the twains don't meet. Anyway, just look at this frothy confection of soft pink swirly art glass beads, silvery Niki brand faux baroque pearls from Japan, and a filigree central medallion to die for ~ rhinestone-covered branches falling across pink poured glass leaves on either side of a floral arrangement in which roses are formed out of thin twists of 24K Russian gold plate, huge brilliant rhinestones, and even larger baroque pearls set at their centers. At the other end, an ornate clasp decorated with roses montees and a single prong-set crystal chaton finishes things off. The clip earrings are made from discs of the same swirly pink art glass with a rhinestone in the center and an elaborate profusion of rhinestone roses taken from the centerpiece of the necklace climbing up the outer edges. The necklace is choker length, 15-1/4" long at the shortest strand, with the centerpiece measuring 3" across and 1-7/8" high, while the earrings are 1" x 7/8" x 1/2" thick excluding the clip. The set is in very good vintage condition with no verdigris, a rarity for this type of jewelry, and all pieces are signed Miriam Haskell.
