To die for, and now at a reasonable price! Early signed Miriam Haskell necklace made entirely of tiny baroque pearls and roses montees that completely cover Russian gold plate triple leaf and fruit motifs all the way around the neck at a width of approximately 1-3/4", where the two strands of larger pearls gather into a rosette and fasten with a decorative hook and pearl chain. Restored by Millie Petronzio, the Haskell Company's current head designer, using vintage materials taken from broken pieces of the same age, which she tells me is mid to late '50s. (The teensy seed pearls and montees are no longer available new.) The pictures don't even begin to do this magnificent piece justice, and I'll add better ones if I'm able to take them. Length extends from 14" to 16", and condition after restoration is like new.
