Stunning MIRIAM HASKELL Fancy Double Strand Faux Baroque Pearl & Crystal Necklace

Dear reader, kindly forgive my bloopers of 2007, in one of which I thoroughly misdescribed this splendid necklace as one of Haskell's "Basics" line, for there is nothing basic about it except in my morphine-addled mind. (My pain management doc has since changed my meds, but not before I made a right mess of my shop and anything else you care to name.) This Haskell beauty of the '50's is in virtually mint condition, clearly well loved by its previous owner, and consists of 38 10mm plump Niki Brand baroque pearls, the nacre of which was applied according to a secret formula that Niki took to the corporate boneyard with them when they went out of business, ~ some time in the '80s, I believe. Between each pearl is a cut crystal miniature bicone bead, flanked on either side with a tiny bead cap and antiqued silvertone faceted spacers that appear to be tarnished sterling silver. The same goes for her signature florets and the hook, where it's signed twice. It's in excellent vintage condition with no flaking pearls whatsoever. The necklace is choker length and extends in length from 14-1/2" to 17" long.
