French Art Deco Chrome & Sapphire Paste Bib Necklace

I have been looking all over my crowded little office for months for this fabulous thirties necklace and feared that it was inexplicably gone forever when this morning a hunt for rose montees turned it up in a box marked "Haskell Pearls" ~ go figure! It's made up of seven dangles of shimmering individually bezel-set antique-white rhinestones ~ that is the only way I can think of to describe them ~ each with a large open-backed sapphire oval drop at the end. The bib portion of the necklace carries on for 5-1/2" with a maximum width of 2-1/4"; the remainder is fine chrome chain that ends in an early type of push-in clasp for a total length of 17-1/4". Condition is excellent. No markings. It came to me from England; its former owner indicated that her grandmother bought it in France on one of her many trips abroad.
