When it comes to bracelets, it seems that I am positively blessed this week ~ how many times now have I had to exempt myself from my "no superlatives in the title" rule with regard to wrist-related objects of joolery? I think this one makes number 4, or is it really just number 3 and it FEELS like number 4? Anyway, whatever you want to call it ~ be it spectacular, stupendous, splendid, superb, sublime, supreme, sumptuous, scrumptious, or a little bit bumptious, ravishing or resplendent, showstopping, jaw-dropping, fabulous, fantastic, felicitous, phantasmagoric, first-rate, first-class, First Ladylike, incomparable and always inimitable, incredible though not entirely unbelievable, majestic, marvelous, and magnificent; amazing, astonishing, ambrosial, gorgeous, (drop-dead or otherwise), dazzling, delectable, delightful, or delicious, primo or choice-o, a nonpareil unparallelled, exquisite but never requisite, enchanting, entrancing, formidable, transcendent, ravishing or rapturous, heavenly or hot, wonderful or not! Now, where were we? Yes, the bracelet! Unmistakably Art Deco; It's sturdily constructed of heavy rhodium plate on base metal; each individual channel is a link unto itself and holds four sparkling square stones, making for snakelike flexibility. It has a pushbutton clasp formed by a row of raised stones and a raised channel on the opposite end to meet it. The bracelet is a full inch wide and 6-7/8" long, and yes, it fits Miz Skinny-Wrist here perfectly. Best of all, it's in MINT condition; not a single stone shows any sign of foil deterioration, and the rhodium plate is smooth and unworn. Well worth the price in every respect!
