Victorian Blue Enamel Ring with Cushion Cut Diamond

What a unique ring! This ring has it all you could want in a small solitaire Victorian ring- engraving, blue enamel in an unusual blue shade, and a bright cushion cut diamond. Cushion cut stones are square shaped with rounded corners. They are very deep from table to culet, so they appear smaller face up than their actual carat weight. This stone is approximately 2x3 mms face up. The diamond is in good condition for its age with a minor nick to the table seen under magnification, and a minor scratch near the girdle also viewable under magnification. The head of the ring is approx 7.5 mms long. It is stamped 14k. I wonder if it was tested and stamped later, because there is a tiny flat spot opposite the stamp. It is currently a size 6.5. It appears that it nay have been sized at some point (note the faint gold solder lines on the underside) but sizing is not recommended due the risk to the enamel, both from heat and bending the shank.
