This Victorian era Fede or "faith" ring is a very appealing warm rose gold. It is slightly smaller than a size 9 and would suit a gentleman or a lady. It tested to be 10k gold and has a curious hallmark on the outside of the band. It is probably European, but I do not recognize the hallmark. The hallmark resembles a hawk or falcons head. The ring is in excellent condition. It was constructed, not cast, so the detail is crisp and the ring is not too heavy. It would make an ideal wedding band or friendship ring. The symbolism of the hands holding one another is highly sentimental and makes a very strong statement. What a wonderful reminder of your love and commitment!
