Watercolor on paper, 5 5/8" by 8 1/2" (11 1/4" by 13 1/2" as framed), signed at lower left "E.B. Foley/74". There is a listing for an "E. N. Foley" (1814-1874), but, I'm not sure that this is by that artist. This is a charming scene of England in the Victorian age, a classic home on a dirt lane, and two figures in the scene as well. If you like the cottage art small watercolors of the period, you might well find this work to be of interest. I also have a number of other English watercolors of the period in my shop.
