SIMON AVISSAR (1948-) contemporary French Israeli art abstract painting

Oil or acrylic on panel, 30" by 24" and narrow metal frame, signed at lower right in red by noted French-Jewish artist SIMON AVISSAR (1948-). This colorful semi-abstract painting probably dates to the 1970's. Its creator, Morocco-born, studied in Paris and has long and consistent ties to the city, but he has been the feature of solo exhibitions in North and South America, Europe, Israel and South Africa. A number of major museums hold his work in their collections, and paintings by Avissar have been sold by major auction houses. The artist has worked in a number of different media, including but not limited to sculpture, and lithography. This is one of two works I am offering. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
