Pastel on paper, 19" by 25" (28" by 33" as framed), signed at bottom right by artist ELIOT CLARK (1883-1980). Clark was an artist who lived an extraordinarily long life; he was taught by John Twachtman, yet lived to see man walk on the moon. He was widely traveled, especially in the US, where he came to be known as one of the few artists executing pastel drawings in the southern states. Many museums held exhibitions of his work and include the works in their collections. See askart for much more on the artist. This work is in clean condition with only minimal contact with the glass.
