Impressionistic contemporary signed harbor painting with clipper ship

Oil on canvas, 16" by 12" and 4" of frame all around, signed at lower left in the paint "John Clymer". I DON'T believe this to be a work by the noted American illustrator and painter (though others, including auction houses, have sold them as late works by Clymer). There's a John Clymer museum in Washington state and the museum's opinion is that the works out there in this impressionist style have nothing to do with Clymer. So, I am simply offering this as an attractive, colorful, and well executed contemporary painting in wall-ready condition. Both painting and frame are extremely clean. Note the skilled handling of the paint in the reflections, rigging, and clouds. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
