NIELS HANSTEEN (1855-1912) listed Norwegian art marine watercolor painting steam and sail ship on the high seas

Watercolor on paper, 7 1/2" by 12" inside the mat, by well listed Norwegian artist NIELS HANSTEEN (1855-1912), the major oils of whom have sold for over $25,000 at auction in Scandinavia. The subject matter is a steam/sail ship in heavy sease, with a sailing vessel in the distance. Signature is at lower left with the 1883 date. The drawing is in poor condition, with scratches, water stains, a large dig, and overall heavy browning. While it could be restored, paper restoration would be expensive. The true color is closer to the orange-brown, heavily toned images. I would expect this to be of interest to a collector of Norwegian art who is familiar with the artist's work and would want to collect the painting for its historical interest and its place in the artist's body of work.
