Watercolor on paper woodland scene with relaxing figures and view to distant church, 12 1/2" by 18 1/2" (18 1/2" by 24 3/4" as framed), signed at lower right by French nineteenth century listed artist EMILE AUBERT LESSORE. This is a beautifully executed work in excellent fresh condition. The colors are so fresh that it's hard to believe this piece is at least 130 years old! Found in Texas.
