If you collect early art of the Pacific Northwest, this vintage work might be of interest to you. Apparently unsigned, this multi-sided work measures 11" by 19" (14" by 22" as framed). It's executed on old paper, laid on gray board. The charming scene is packed with detail of horse-drawn carriages, dogs like setters or spaniels, trees, houses, and of course the famous snowy cone of Mt. Hood. There's a folk art element in this painting, springing from the details. I think you could look long and hard to find such a charming vintage scene from the Northwest. Condition reflects the age, with some damage at upper left in sky (see photos) and a small edge loss at right. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
