Greetings! My name is Jan and I live with my husband and teenage son in Avon Lake, a small city on the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio, on the shores of Lake Erie. I love gardening, art and design, decorating and antiques. I'm drawn to beautiful glassware, pottery, china and silver, and feature these items most often in my listings. A graphic designer/illustrator/calligrapher by trade, I have run a freelance business from my home for nearly 30 years. I began selling on ebay several years ago when my business was slow, and now I'm hooked! I spend my days doing the things I love most...designing giftware related items and selling vintage collectibles online.

The thrill of the hunt is what motivates me to search for collectibles, china, silver, antiques and unique items at estate liquidations, rummage and garage sales. I'm out treasure-hunting every week, so I always have fresh merchandise coming in. I love putting the treasures I find into the hands of someone looking for those items. I have a library of reference books on china, pottery, glassware, silver, dolls and collectibles, and I thoroughly research the items I buy before listing them. I'll include the history of the item and maker whenever it is appropriate, because I love to educate as well as be educated. Items are always described as accurately as possible, but I'm human and occasionally miss a flaw. I'm always happy to answer questions in a timely manner.
