This oval pair of miniature portraits is interesting because it is of the same girl....one painting is a seductive dress and the other is a little less showy. The artist did a wonderful job replicating the lips and nose and eyes perfectly. If they are signed, it is either under the framed edge or on the back...I have not opened them to find out. Measure 4 3/4" wide by 5 5/8" high.

Note: All of the miniature portraits on my Ruby site are from the collection of retired New England dealer who specialized in Sèvres & Samson porcelain.
