This rich toned pie safe is made from heart pine and has a deep tan/orange color. The lock and key work. Notice the layered panel carving around the key. It is a simple piece that will bring a warm glow to any room. France. c 1880. Measures 50" W, 21 1/8" D and 45 3/4 H.
