The bead work on this stool is amazing. I'd hate to think of how long it took to make it! The gold leave and nut side pattern is made from boiled leather that was clamped into a mold until dry. In very good condition...all original. Some of the beads are missing - use zoom. This an amazing piece...notice the gentle taper of the legs. Measures 13" Wide, 9" Deep and 7.25" High. Found in England. c.1850
