French Ceramic Wine Pitcher

This interesting pitcher was used as a table wine server during large get-togethers. The relief on the pitcher consists of grape vines laden with leaves and grapes. One side features and man and woman in old fashion garb holding a clay jug, a wine glass and a wine barrel is in the background. The other side features a man, maybe the vineyard owner / wine maker squeezing or dropping a grape into his other hand. I am assuming that he is checking the readiness of the grapes for harvest. France, c1950. Measures: 10" H, 10" W and 7.5" D.
