Fabulous gold gilt candle sticks. The details carved into these sticks give them a subtly rich quality. The vermilion paint base under the gold shows in areas. Found in France. 1880's. Measures: 12 1/4" H by 4 5/8" Wide at the base. Both bases have 1.5" cracks in them. Some flaking of paint. Otherwise, they are in suitable condition for their age.
