This Imari plate has the blue under glaze and red over glaze. Has a lovely palate of peach, ripe apricot and cobalt.. The surface of the plate is "waved" like a scallop shell and the edges are very gently scalloped. No chips or cracks. Found in England. c1850 Measures 8 1/2" White Bottom. *I do have a matching second plate if you'd like a pair!
