This is a wonderful example of a French bedroom sofa. It has beautiful lines and the size makes it perfect and versatile...put it at the foot of a bed, in the hall, or kitchen. This handsome pine Farm Hutch was discovered in Normandy. At 86" H, 67" W and 20.5" D (base) & 18" D at the drawers...it truly defines a room. First Quarter 1800's. Naturally the bruises, bumps, and life marks are characteristic with its age. The feet, bottom (floor) shelf and interior facing above the floor shelf and below the back of the drawers is newly added. Replaced hardware.The rest is original as far as I can tell.

This rare fruitwood cabinet features a tambour door... like that found on a roll top desk, except the inside of this piece has a waxed, cheesecloth backing to assist in holding the door together as it slides in. It is in good very condition for a 1790's cabinet or side table. The door slides well. Hardware was replaced. Measures: 16 5/8 W, 14 1/4 D and 28 3/8 H. Beautiful honey color.
