This is a very unique Faux Bamboo Hat Rack...the first of this style that I have ever found. It truly has character. Perfect for scarves, jackets and hats. Please note the center iron part is slightly askew and one hanging hook is broken...could easily be replaced with a picture hoop hook. Measures 17 1/2" wide and 11 3/8" high. Found in Paris. Circa early 1900's.

This sweet Chinoiserie container seems to feature 3 musicians in a garden setting with bamboo and flowers in the background. The gold painting on the sides has faded, but the outlines of the images and some faint gold painting can still be seen. Found in England. Measures 2 1/2" high and 2 7/8" wide. Circa 1880.

These hard to find, French wine barrel numbers are tres cool. They are circa 1910 and measure 3 3/8" in diameter. Some have rather crackled glazes and other are unblemished. This is a fantastic example of a Deft tobacco jar. Note the great spelling - "Toeback." The potter used the blue tones perfectly..nice fluid movement of light into darker, almost cobalt. The painting has a grace to it - again, another indicator of a good artist. Note the initials and and signed bottom. Found in Brussels. New brass lid. Measures 10 1/4" high without the lid.

This gorgeous red tub is awesome as center piece on a table...or as a fruit holder or anything else. Notice it's design - great legs, and stretcher design between them, and the two brass bands. c. 1900. In excellent condition and a lovely wood patina/feel even the paint can't cover up. Measures 20 7/8" wide and 14 1/8" high. And it is more of a darker brick red - the flash popped the red tone and made it 'brighter' looking.

This is a great Black Forest clock. The detailed carving is handsome and the craftsmanship is fantastic. Notice the texture and perfect layers of the birds feathers or the details on the rabbit. The hunting horn and game bag on the bottom and the dog head on the top really make this a "wow" piece. Found in France. c.early 1900's. Measures 30.5" high, 20" wide and 6" deep. The numbers are enamel and it does have the winding key.

This fabulous teapot was made by the German silversmith Heinrich Anthon Schauenburg who was active in Hamburg from 1816 till at least 1857. Note the beautiful Lion's head spout, floral designs and wooden handle and top. Smashingly equal to some of London's top silversmilths. The mark on the left is the city mark of Hamburg, Germany, “A” is for warden J.N.W. Schäffer, who served in this function 1828-1851. It is slightly dented on one side. An easy repair. This striking Lion was found in Northern England. It's flowing mane and pudgy jowls give it remarkable character. It measures 29 1/8" Wide, 14 1/8" High and 4 1/4 Deep. It weighs about 8 pounds. The black finish is a flat matte. The paint job does cover several small holes that could be used to anchor it to a wall. Late 19th or early 20th century.
