Amber Depression Glass Cream and Sugar in Madrid ca 1932-39

This beautiful Depression glass cream and sugar set was made by Federal Glass Company from 1932-1939. The mold was sold to Indiana Glass in 1976 which produced this pattern but added a tiny “76” to the mold to distinguish between the old and new sets.

This lovely set is in excellent condition without any nicks, chips or cracks. The sugar bowl does have a crease right under the rim which appears to have been caused by the way it was removed from the mold. This crease in extremely difficult to see but you can feel it with your finger.

Size:

Creamer: 3 1/8” high by 5” from spout to handle

Sugar: 3 1/8” high by 5 ¼” from handle to handle.
