Fenton #821 Blue Cannonball Water Set ca 1905-1910

This outstanding Water Set was made by Fenton from 1905-1910 and is pictured in a black and white photo on page 101 of the Fenton Glass “The First Twenty-five Years” collectors’ book. The pitcher is Fenton’s #821 Cannonball shape and each glass is beveled.

This set is in outstanding condition. The pitcher stands almost 10’ high and the ball shaped belly is 8” in diameter. Our pitcher does not have any nicks, chips or cracks. There is slight gold loss on the trim around the spout and one leaf on the top flower is missing a small amount of enamel.

There are six glasses to this set which is almost unheard of in a set this old. Four of the six glasses are in mint condition. One glass has a chip on the bottom of the glass which cannot be seen unless the glass is turned over and one glass has a very tiny crack about ¼” long which is extremely difficult to find but if examined closely you can see it. However the enamel on each glass is in excellent condition.

As I have already stated, this set is in outstanding condition and will display beautifully and should you choose to use this set it will serve you with the style Fenton Glass is noted for.
