This superb Crescent Silver-plate Holloware Punch Set has been done in a repousse grape pattern. The intricate grape and thick vine branches are just stunning. Some of the grape clusters even appear to have a rose wash over them which may have been done with copper. However this was accomplished it is beautiful.

The punch bowl is extremely large standing 10” high by an impressive 15” in diameter. The tray on this has the repousse grape clusters around the edge and the entire center of the tray has been needle etched with an intricate pattern with very fine etched leaves that have an almost feather appearance, scrolls and a fan design in the middle. The green in the center of the tray on the pictures is a reflection of the trees overhead. Each of the 12 mugs has the repousse or raised formed grapes around the base and on the handle. The ladle has the same pattern extending halfway down the handle. Finally this set has a bonus set of 6 matching ambrosia bowl with the repousse grapes around the base of them.

This is a beautiful set that would be stunning with any décor but would be outstanding in a Tuscany Italian setting. I am certain this set would be treasured for generations to come.
