Hand Painted Enameled Lotus Water Set by Fenton

$425 USDHand Painted Enameled Lotus Water Set by Fenton

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Fenton
This gorgeous 5 piece Water Set was made by Fenton in the early 1900s in what they call Enameled Lotus. For the age the enamel; it is in extraordinary condition with only very minor ware. Most sets I have seen with this hand painted enamel normally have more ware than paint. However the pitcher does have a stress crack where the handle attaches to the pitcher and some sort of discoloring; almost like weathered paint on the inside of the neck. This is not easily seen without turning the pitcher ...

It does have a two inch scratch in the iridescent which I have taken a close up picture of. Each glass is in excellent condition without any nicks, chips or cracks. Several of the glasses show very, very ...

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Fenton
This vase is one of Fentons best known and loved pattern; Butterfly and Berry. Fenton produced this piece in the early 1900's. $98 USDAmber Iridescent Stretch Glass Compote with Matching Plate ca 1900-1920

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Fenton
Our Amber Iridescent Stretch Glass Compote has a clear stem and base with a matching plate. The plate has a lip circle in the center that exactly fits the base of the compote so it will not slide. I found a stretch glass compote in this color with the clear stem and base pictured in Warmans Antique and Collectable Glass Book pg. 308. They said that both Fenton and Cambridge made these pieces from the early 1900s to 1920 however Tiffin also made this shape in an etched piece. Our compote is in ...
Rare Color Amber Luster Rose by Imperial

$145 USDRare Color Amber Luster Rose by Imperial

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Imperial
Essentially this pattern is the same as Imperials Open Rose pattern and both the Luster Rose and the Open Rose pattern are shown in early Imperial catalogs as the same pattern. However collectors have come to refer to the water sets and table sets which this spooner is a part of as Luster Rose. This particular spooner is in the very hard to find Amber color which is much richer than your typical marigold. I have taken pictures of a Luster Rose berry bowl in marigold along side this Amber Luster ...
Italian Old World Picture in Gold Leaf Decoupage

$150 USDItalian Old World Picture in Gold Leaf Decoupage

Glass:Antique:Art:Gold Leaf:Domed Glass
This style of decoupage originated in France in the 17th Century, and displays the skillful decorative art of re-designing cut-outs from recent or antique prints. Each piece shaped entirely by hand. The method of application directly to a flat or convert glass and the blending of the gold metal leaf or other colors depict an interesting work of art. The popularity of this style of art returned in the 1920’s-30’s and is most likely the time period of these pictures. This particular pieces was ...

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Fenton
This lovely little piece is Fenton's version of the Grape and Cable Pattern. This pattern was so popular during the turn of the century; each of the major glass companies had their own version. Fenton Three Fruit Variant Plate in Cobalt Blue ca Early 1900's

$220 USDFenton Three Fruit Variant Plate in Cobalt Blue ca Early 1900's

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Northwood
While looking at the front of the gorgeous plate with it wide range of color it is hard to determine what the base color is. The front of the plate displays vibrant green around the edge while the center displays rich amethyst, purple, teal and gold. However when you turn the plate over it reveals its true identity in its bold cobalt blue center. I am convinced that once an iridescent finish is placed over cobalt blue you get a larger verity of color than with any other base. Our Fenton 12 sided ...

Glass:Antique:Carnival:Dugan
Made by Dugan in the early 1900’s this bowl their Single Flower in Peach Opalescent. The pattern on Single Flower consists of three groups of two flowers on the outside with plain interior. It has always been a mystery why Dugan named this piece single flower when there are two flowers together. Some collectors have speculated that it might be because each flower is the same; there are not two different types of flowers. At any rate it is a very pretty pattern and the peach opalescent has ...
