Pleased to offer this beautiful antique table lamp recently acquired at an estate sale. The base is unsigned with the exception of two stamps of the number 1456. I was told by a reputable dealer that the shade could be an unsigned Handel. He had seen Handel shades with the exact same outlined scroll pattern that this one has. The hand painted shade is hues of green with a raised gold outline of the darker green scroll design. Red Roses and buds have a wonderful real feeling. I believe the base is a zinc alloy. The single socket and on/off pull chain look to be original. The wiring has been updated and is in good working condition. There is no heat plate or finial at the top, These can be purchased quite easily. The shade is in extremely good condition for it's age. There are some very tiny chips and roughness on the bottom inside edge, that cannot be seen without turning the shade upside down and really looking. The shade measures 11 7/8" at it's widest, the base 6 1/2" wide. The entire lamp is 19" tall. Very pretty lamp!
