We offer a set of 4 porcelain pieces by Mancioli of Italy. This family run business started manufacturing fine porcelain and ceramics in 1946 and employed many of Europe's finest Artists including Eva Zeisel through the years. This hand painted mid Century Modern pattern of bright colors on white is fabulous! The two dinner plates and trinket box have bright red poppies with blue flowers and green foliage. The other plate has a bright yellow poppy type flower with green foliage and yellow rim. The three plates measure 8 1/2" and are in very good condition. No chips or wear. They do show some age appropriate crazing in the glaze. The trinket box measures 6 1/4" by 3 3/4" and 2" deep. The box has a small flat chip on one top corner of the lid, (see picture). Other than that this piece is excellent with no crazing. All four pieces are marked with the green Mancioli Italy stamp.
