We have a rare and unusual Pinocchio Lollipop jar for your consideration. The 1940's - 50's jar with Pinocchio's head and a yellow ruffled collar and green sleeves is painted on the front with 'I've plenty of Lollipops for a good child' The finish has some paint wear only on the large red lollipop on the front and a small area on his red hat. There are painted lollipops around the back of the piece. The jar measures 8 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" wide. There is slight age appropriate crazing to the glaze in a few areas. No chips or cracks. The jar is un-marked on the base. I could find no other example of this jar in my searching for it's history. Very whimsical looking and would be a great addition to a cookie jar collection.
