We have a beautiful decorated bowl by 'Maruhon Ware' of Japan from the 1930's - 40's time period. The bowl has a wonderful form and vivid colors of cobalt blue, yellow and green on a cream ground. This is hand painted with red and blue flowers with green leaves. The bowl is marked with "MARUHON WARE hand painted JAPAN" along with the K inside the circle. The bowl measures 11 1/4" by 7 1/4" and stands 4 1/4" tall. There are no chips or cracks and the colors are gorgeous. There is crazing throughout the piece which is age appropriate. Very nice!
