Great set of 1950's Blue Ridge dinnerware by Southern Potteries. The set includes 34 pieces in this floral pattern on cream ground with black outline and pink/red flower with a gray shaded border trim. The set includes; (6) 9 1/2" dinner plates, (6) 6 1/2" bread and butter plates. (8) 5 1/2" dessert bowls, (7) 8" flat soup bowls. (1) 13 1/2" X 11 1/2" platter. (1) covered sugar bowl, (1) creamer, (1) 8 3/4" vegetable serving bowl, and (3) cups (not pictured). The set is in wonderful condition! No chips, cracks or wear to the hand painted design. There is a small amount of crazing to 1 dinner plate and the bottom of the sugar bowl. The plates are stamped: 'BLUE RIDGE SOUTHERN POTTERIES INC. Made in the USA, Hand Painted Underglaze 16E. The set will have to be packed in two boxes to insure safe arrival. This is a very nice set of dishes!
