Antique Victorian White Embroidered Lawn or Garden Dress

A beautiful white fine cotton Victorian dress lavishly embroidered with daisy's, definitely a high end garment in it's time.

Imagine dressed in your finest white frock, sipping ice tea in the summer heat while you watch a lively game of croquette. You can almost hear the crack of the croquette balls rolling across the lawn.

The dress has a 3 tiered skirt with each tier ending in embroidered daisy's on a scalloped hem. Even the collar is embroidered. The dress fastens in the back with a series of snaps.

The sheer sleeves end in a flare with lace edging, coming to a point on the top of the hand. The sleeves are 22" in length with 10 tiny Mother of Pearl buttons.

The bust is 36", the waist is 26", the hips are up to 39", it is 54" from the shoulder to the hem.

In very good condition for its age. No rips or tears. There are a few very small age spots that would probably come out with soaking, hardly noticeable.
