Vintage 1920 Art Deco Cathedral Style Mesh Purse

This is a lovely and functional Art Deco Cathedral style gold Dresden mesh purse that is in very good condition!

All the mesh is there, intact and attached. The fringe on the bottom, and the clasp are in perfect condition.

The length of the handle is 7 1/4", the purse length is 6 1/2", the length of the tassle is 1 1/2", and the width of the purse at the bottom is 4 1/2".

There is a blue jewel on the clasp, a small engraved flower on the mounting at the top of the tassle, and the date 1920 is engraved on one of the wristband slides. When the two wristband slides are put together, a pretty art deco design emerges on the back.

It is hard to get the true color of the gold due to the flash. It is priced according to its condition.

This charming purse has been admired at previous Art Deco functions! It needs a new home!
