Antique Civil War Era Black Velvet Collar with Quilted Lining

Rare antique black velvet collar circa 1860's. The black velvet is very soft with a gold quilted lining, both in excellent condition. Inside neck circumference is 13 1/2", back length is 9", length in front is 7", total circumference is 42". There is a hook and eye closure at the throat.

As with all my vintage clothing items, it is clean and smoke free. Almost perfect condition except for a small portion of loose thread on the inside center hem. I don't sew, but a very easy to fix for someone who does. This is a rare piece and would be a nice addition to your collection. Arrives at your door in a hat box.
