Antique Martial Redon Limoges cruet with heavy gilt

A cruet missing its stopper, this gorgeous gold-on-white Martial Redon Limoges piece is one of the most perfect Limoges objects I have ever seen, its shape and decoration are perfectly matched. The ruffled foot billows up and out at the body before narrowing back to its neck, the high looped fancy handle is so elegant, and the use of gilt incredibly lavish. Beneath the spout, a huge gilt apple or pear, complete with leaves, drips toward the foot.

Marks date the piece to the 1880--1890 time period as it has an impressed MR mark as well as the green decorating mark. It stands just over five inches high and I have provided a close-up of a small nick at the neck, it is gilt covered and I am unsure whether it has to do with the missing stopper.
