This incredibly detailed and fine Oriental porcelain cup and saucer set commands attention and will enhance any collection. The porcelain is eggshell thin; the design can be clearly seen through to the inside of the cup, and the composition of the hanging blossoms and pagodas or temples is outlined and highlighted with fine gilt. There is also a lovely border design of red and gilt, intricate and delicate at the same time.

Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks, repairs or scratches. For accuracy, I mention and photograph two small red paint flecks on the inner cup surface. The true beauty of this set is most apparent when light flows through the very fine surfaces. Cup measures 3 inches in diameter at the rim, saucer diameter is 5 inches. Please see the bottom of both pieces for marks.
