What an adorable little lavender velvet bonnet for your Bebe. The head section has been finely gathered all along where it joins the back of the bonnet. All along the area where these two sections meet, there is a lovely velvet creme ribbon which is decorated with tiny silk pink apple blossoms, pink and white dogwood flowers, thistle flowers, velvet variegated leaves in various shades of green and several lovely pale pink silk ribbons. On the left hand side of the bonnet, there is a wonderful feather that has been dyed in shades of lavender to matched the color of the bonnet. The wide front brim is entirely wired and totally covered with an abundance of gathered antique net lace. To add to to the beauty of the front is a tiny antique ribbon and flower trim, which is located all around the outer brim section. The colors you see in the pictures are exactly those of the bonnet, flowers and feather. I am showing this little 'chapeau' on Claire, who has a head circumference of 7 inches - about 7 1/4 with her wig and it fits her well. The bonnet would also work on a head size of 8 inches - plus another 1/4 inch or so to accommodate the doll's wig. This is truly an adorable bonnet that will look just as cute on your little Bebe.
