Oh, what an exquisite bonnet! Everywhere you look, there is flounced and cascading lace, as well as fabulous tiny pink silk ribbon flowers along the entire front of this beautiful bonnet. This same ribbon, only wider, is pleated all along the front and back of this little creation and it ends in the back and on the top front of the bonnet in a festoon of bows - this same ribbon is used for the ties. All the foregoing adorns a light as air bonnet, made of the finest lawn, which was heavily embroidered with flowers, ferns and floating leaves. Finally, there is a little draw cord in the back to allow for the perfect on your doll's head. Words cannot do justice to this exquisite bonnet - hopefully my pictures will show how truly wonderful it is. Gabrielle has willing offered to model this beautiful bonnet and even though it is a little large on her, she is adorable in it nonetheless - her head circumference is 9 inches. In my opinion this bonnet would fit a head circumference of 10 - 12 inches, including wig - depending on how loose you would like the bonnet fit. I would not recommend more than 12 1/2 inches tops, if you want to keep the blousing effect. Measurements: Distance from one ear, behind neck to other ear: 10 inches with drawstring undone and 5 inches with it tied tight - Distance from one ear, over the top of the head to other ear: 11 inches - Depth: 11 inches. This is truly one of the most beautiful and feminine doll bonnets I have ever seen. I know neither you nor your dollie will be disappointed.
