Elegant little 2 compartment accordion style bag with flap over closure, and a darling little gold tone closure that looks like a bullet, but which flips up or down to close the bag securely.

Dimensions 7" height x 9"width, 3" width at bottom. A full 17" in height in hand.

Made by MILLIE'S HANDBAG COMPANY in HONG KONG and sold from a shop on Shangi Road in Kowloon, the label is present, with the telephone number and address of shop. There is a slip in compartment on the front which is invisible when the bag is closed, and two slip-in compartments inside. Also there are two compartments with zippered closures, the larger, is separating the two accordion compartments. The smaller zipped closure is inside on the back wall of the bag. And on top of that is another slip in pocket lined with gold. The larger slip in compartment backs the outside compartment, but it is on the inside of the bag. The zippers are a dark bronze color.

The bag is lined in grosgrain fabric, and as mentioned, trimmed on the inside in gold. All the gold tone fittings are attached with screws in case you'd ever want to have them sent in for re-plating. The front closure is easily removed, a GOOD shoemaker would need to open the seams to remove the rest.

In lovely condition, this bag has recently had the skin professionally conditioned. The is a slight scent of Joy perfume as I kept a hanky in the zippered compartment.
