This is an earlier Simon and Halbig doll, from 1889 - 1890. She is an absolutely beautiful doll. She is 22 inches in height. Bisque socket head on a fully jointed body. Beautiful fixed deep brown handblown glass eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, multi stroke and stacked brows. She has deep rose painted lips, and an open mouth with four upper teeth, Her ears are pierced and her chin is dimpled.

She has her original antique hand made ash blond mohair wig that was hand tied onto a net, though some of the netting backing is gone, the wig is still quite sturdy,

She is wearing a little black velvet hat.

Has the original plaster pate. It was removed by me prior to buying her to light her head, and she has no hairlines. She has a few small pulls around her head, which you can see, and behind her right ear where her earbob wires go is a flake. I took close-ups, but if you would like more pictures, please let me know.

Her stringing is the old red and white cord, so I believe her body to be original. It has crazing, but no lifting or what I consider cracking. The arms have some transfer of a reddish dye stains from something red she wore for a long time at some point.

Her outfit is gorgeous, made from vintage fabrics, there is one small spot on the front of the dress where there is a very tiny hole, but it is backed with the same fabric, and it doesn't show. I think it is gorgeous on her. Spoilt princess that she is, her shoes are of soft leather, they match her outfit, and are handmade. There is a lace dress under her green jumper, and she has on satin bloomers and hand made socks.

She is from a nonsmoking home, and she has no odors.
