Hertwig and Company was a porcelain factory located in Katzhutte in the Thuringian region of Germany. The factory produced children's dolls, decorative objects, and porcelain novelties. The factory began production in 1865, and continued until 1940.
He is a very nice boy indeed with sculpted hair and facial features He has flirty eyes, and he's in fantastic condition, with his paint and bisque being without wear, chipping, or fading.
His head and body are one piece, and his arms are attached on to the body with with the original wire with curlicue ends.
