Old Jeweled Frame for 6x8" Photo by E&J Bass of New York

This is a beautiful old jeweled photo frame with faceted glass stones that simulate amethysts and sapphires. It is backed with velvet and has an easel stand. The original old glass is present.

It is marked on the back with the maker’s mark E&JB for E. & J. Bass, New York, New York. They were known to manufacture sterling, silver deposit, silver plated and gold plated accessories from circa 1890 - 1930.

The outside of the frame measures 7-1/8” x 10-3/16”. It will hold a 6x8” photo.

Some tarnish. The velvet has faded with age. The wire that makes the easel back meets at a center point. One of the wires has separated from the center point. This doesn’t cause any problems.
