This stunning new custom made necklace is made of freshwater, A grade, white, potato shaped (almost round) pearls, which are 5-5.5mm in size, extremely well shaped, with a high luster, and having very minor surface blemishes. They have a clean white interior. They have been strung with a High Quality 14k Gold Filled, pearl safety clasp. This clasp can be upgraded to pure 14kt gold or above at a higher cost, if you desire.

Each pearl is meticulously, hand mitered, then strung on Guidebrook pure silk thread which is precisely double knotted between each pearl by hand in a labor intense, time consuming, ancient traditional method. Quick knot tools of any kind are never used.

This results not only in an elegant lay of the pearls, but an impressive overall design where the fine glistening silk cord becomes a complement to the pearls resulting in a truly stunning freshwater pearl necklace.

It is very difficult to find double-knotted, hand-strung pearls in jewelry stores today. Most knotting is done with a quick and easy tool and with only one knot between the pearls. But, I have perfected this ancient process over a period of years and use it not only on pearls, but on most of my other fine gemstone jewelry necklaces. One of which, currently appears in a trade catalog. So, this necklace is truly a unique and priceless gift for yourself or someone special to cherish and to hand down to subsequent generations.
