Issued in 1920, here is a lovely sterling nut or bonbon scoop by Watson in the pattern known as Plymouth. The bowl has a pierced design while the handle is decorated with a classical beaded trim. George W. Shiebler sold the dies for the American Beauty Pattern to The Mauser Manufacturing Co (1880). Thus, this nice old spreader bears the maker's mark for both Shiebler (winged 'S') and the name Mauser Mfg Co along with the patent date (July 29 1896) and is signed sterling. Quite a lot of marking for this small (5 1/2") spreader. Beautiful crisp pattern--a lovely example of this increasingly hard to find American manufacturer. Reduced!

Here is a really great Staffordshire bird sitting in its coleslaw nest and balanced on what appears to be a tree trunk. In excellent condition, it is 5"h x 2 1/2"w, with a beautiful full tail, standing taller than the bird--perhaps affording it some privacy while it awaits what I can only assume is the birth of its young. Great little piece, the back as pretty as the front...cole slaw also in pristine condition and priced to sell.

A fabulous oddity--a Victorian ink eraser enclosed in an ornate, spring-loaded silverplate case. Measuring only 1 5/8" X 1 1/8", the design on the silverplate case extends on each side to form shell type protrusions. When these shell protrusions are pressed, the top of the case opens and out springs the eraser. In excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. Reduced to reflect my Economic Recovery Sale!

Another lovely memento from a long ago wedding party-- a cultured pearl 'drop' as we used to call it. Having a lovely patina and pretty color, it is set on a 14K gold loop. As with the floating heart also listed, it was worn as a choker on a narrow black ribbon which I can provide, if desired. In excellent condition, it has a beautiful sheen and is priced to sell! A finely made reeded walnut hanging wall shelf that I probably should have removed the curios from before I photo'd. An unusual shape, it is 35"w across the front and 26" w at the back (measured across the four back uprights). It is 27"h and 7 1/2"d. The angle at each end measures 7".
