The English Harvest pattern by Enoch Wedgwood was produced in 1965. Although standard settings and coffee sets are relatively easy to come by, the table accessories are much more scarce. This 2 piece gravy server (boat) and underplate are among the most difficult to locate. I recently saw the large meat platter offered here at Ruby Lane by another dealer and thought how wonderful it would be for the collector to find both unusual pieces at one venue! Gentle swirls soften the simple style of the cream colored china while the vivid hues of the fruit motif draw the eye. Sitting atop the 8" x 6" oval plate is a 3" tall x 3" wide sauce (gravy) server. Adding to the beautifully balanced shape and size is a 1.5" handle. Gold trim accents the design and color of the set. A great find at a great price!
