This covered dish is marked The Sheffield Silver Co. on the base. It is a square dish with matching lid, both scalloped with a Chippendale style border. The finial on the lid is a pineapple. The dish is 10 1/4" wide. It is in very good condition, but it does need to be polished. There is no mark as to silver content, but I believe it is plate, not sterling.
