22" Necklace of Opalite Chips with Artisan-Crafted Lampwork Bead Pendant

The opalite glass chips in this necklace have a wonderful opal glow that defies my photography skills. They're silky smooth to the touch and give off a soft radiance as they move. I strung glass seed beads in a lovely iridescent shade of green in between the opalite.

For the pendant's design, I began with a beautiful artisan-crafted floral bead and embellished it with Bali silver beads and pale green Swarovski crystals. The pendant's focal bead has a lot of depth and dichroic glitter inside and its flowers are raised on top. One side of the bead has two flowers and the other has one. It can be worn either way.

It's a nice 22" length to go over blouses or sweaters and closes with Sterling silver Bali beads and a sweet oval toggle clasp.
